Distinguished Awards

The categories listed below require a separate nomination process and do NOT require an application fee. To nominate an individual or organization for these awards, simply complete the nomination form by July 14, 2024.

Supplier of the Year
This award nomination must be submitted by an event. Please give an overall description of the vendor’s product/service and why they stand out from their competition. Include number of years in business and length of partnership between the event and vendor. Additional photos, documents and supplemental materials may be submitted along with nomination. Both the nominating event and the vendor must be current members.

Best Vendor / Supplier Nomination

Most Innovative Project
This award will go to an organization who has executed an innovative idea or project within the last year. Application should include detail of the project including the concept, implementation and results. Supporting printed materials, photos and measurable results may be submitted with the nomination. May be nominated by self or others

Innovative Project / Event Nomination

Emerging Leader Award

The Emerging Leader Award will be awarded to a rising star in the Florida Festival & Event Industry. This individual should currently be a staff member at an FFEA Member Organization who shows dedication and exemplary leadership within an event. Please include a description of the individual’s role in your organization and demonstrate their impact on your event. Supporting documentation may be included.

Emerging Leader Nomination

Community Impact Award

The Community Impact Award is designed to recognize the outstanding contributions of an Event/Organization in their local community. Application should include any economic, physical and/or social impact and contributions made as a result of the event or organization’s efforts. Supporting materials including reference letters, surveys or impact studies, photos should be included to demonstrate how the event or organization has made a difference or improved the community. Self-nominations only.
