In
"Black Life," Michael Thomas presents a compelling visual narrative
that pays homage to the rich cultural contributions of African Americans
throughout history. His grand-scale sculptures capture scenes of resilience,
community, and daily life, showcasing the complexities of African American
experiences. Each piece is intricately constructed using diverse art and
non-art materials, inviting viewers to engage with the depth and richness of
the explored themes.
Thomas, a talented artist based in North Miami has significantly contributed to
the art scene with his thought-provoking works. He has exhibited extensively
across numerous states, as well as at esteemed venues such as the Art and
Cultural Center of Hollywood and the Bonnet House Museum and Garden.
