Session Description

While it's not always attainable to get the $50K/$100K sponsorship, In-kind sponsorship allow us to step towards value added amenities and getting the goods and services needed donated or underwritten by another company or companies. This session will cover: The value of in-kind sponsorship, How to seek out in-kind sponsorship, the In-kind sponsorship mindset and Growing your in-kind sponsorship. Sponsorship is a 2-way street. If you want to take, you've got to give.

Event Producer, City of Oakland Park

Christine Najac is the Managing Director of South Florida Food and Wine, a hospitality marketing company. In November 2011, her first book was published, the Food Lovers Guide to Miami & Fort Lauderdale (Globe Pequot Press, $14.95). A certified sommelier, Christine is the immediate past sommelier in residence at Lynn University and adjunct professor at Florida International University teaching food and wine pairing seminars. As an in-office consultant, Christine is the event producer for the City of Oakland Park in Broward County creating and managing city-wide events from concept to execution.
