Our story began in 2008, when a local DJ company noticed a trend sweeping across Europe. Silent Discos were a new concept to the United States, but one we knew would quickly catch on. And so, the story goes, we began servicing our corporate clients with our base of built-in DJ’s and these parties became an instant success. Clients quickly transformed from hesitant and skeptical into instant fans. Because the headphones put the user in control, party goers could now choose the type of music they wanted to listen to at a volume that was comfortable for them. We soon expanded our reach by developing partnerships with some of the largest and most well-known cruise ships and the Silent Disco scene quickly spread to the high seas. Thanks to this growing phenomenon, over 6.5 million people were experiencing Silent Discos each year and this trend soon became a staple among most major cruise lines. As momentum continued to build, word of Silent Discos began to spread back on dry land and the rest is history.
